Beach Elopement
Beach Elopement
Ugne and Almantas chose the Latvian coast for their beach elopement - a quiet stretch of the Baltic Sea where the landscape feels untouched, a little wild, and effortlessly calm. With soft sand underfoot, wind moving through everything, and the sea always in the background, it was the kind of setting that doesn’t need much added to it.
To mark the moment, they brought 200 white roses onto the shore. Simple, but striking. Against the neutral tones of the beach, the roses created a clean, almost surreal contrast - something minimal, yet strong enough to hold the entire scene together.
A Custom Bridal Look Made for the Coast
Ugne wore a custom-made wedding dress, designed specifically for her. One of a kind, and it showed. The fabric moved naturally with the wind, light and fluid, never overpowering the environment but becoming part of it. It felt considered without being overdone - exactly right for a setting where everything is constantly in motion.
Throughout the elopement, small details quietly shaped the atmosphere. Shells scattered along the shoreline became part of the day without needing intention or styling. They added texture, softness, and a sense of place - subtle, but meaningful in a way that stayed with us.
An Intimate Ceremony by the Sea
The ceremony itself was intentionally simple. No structure, no strict timeline - just the two of them, standing by the water, fully present in the moment. The sound of the waves, the wind, the open space - everything worked together to create something that felt natural and unforced.
Elopements like this are still relatively uncommon in Lithuania, but they offer something different. More freedom, more intimacy, and a chance to focus on what actually matters.
At Pines & Wines, we don’t just document the day - we help shape it from the beginning. From initial ideas to location scouting, timing, and light, we guide couples through the process to create something that feels personal and effortless.
Light, Atmosphere, and Storytelling
For this elopement, the changing coastal light played a key role. Soft overcast skies created a calm, cinematic mood, while moments of brightness added contrast and depth. We always approach light as part of the story - not just a technical element, but something that defines how the day feels.
The result is imagery that feels natural, textured, and honest. Shot on film, each frame carries a sense of depth and authenticity that reflects the atmosphere of the day.
A Wedding That Feels Like You
For Ugne and Almantas, this wasn’t about creating a large celebration.
It was about choosing a place, a moment, and a way of getting married that felt true to them.
A quiet beach. Wind, sea, sand. White roses holding their shape against it all.
Simple, intentional, and unforgettable.
