Ballet, Film & Dresses with a Story of Their Own

Some bridal collections are made for wedding days. This one feels like it belongs in a theatre, an old European hotel, or the pages of a fashion magazine discovered years later and kept for no obvious reason.

Created for Greta Laur's newest bridal collection, this editorial brought together bridal fashion, dance, and our favourite combination - film and digital photography.

A Bride Through the Eyes of a Ballerina

For this shoot, we worked with a professional ballerina. Not because we wanted perfect poses, but because we wanted movement that couldn't be staged.

Every dress responded differently to the body. Corsets, lace, soft fabrics and delicate details became part of the choreography. Nothing felt static. The dresses moved, twisted, stretched and settled naturally into each frame.

Shot on Film, Because We Love It Too Much

We photographed the collection on both film and digital.

Film has been part of our work for years and continues to inspire us every time we load a roll. We love the grain, the colour shifts, the imperfections and the way it slows the entire process down. Digital gives us precision. Film gives us atmosphere. Together they create something neither could achieve alone.

Bridal Fashion That Doesn't Follow Rules

What we love about Greta Laur's work is that it never feels interested in trends for the sake of trends.

These dresses carry personality. Romantic, but never overly sweet. Elegant, but never predictable. Every piece feels designed for someone with a strong sense of self rather than someone trying to fit into a bridal mould.

Fashion, Movement & Beautiful Weirdness

The final result sits somewhere between bridal fashion, ballet and cinema.

A ballerina moving through quiet interiors. Film grain softening the edges. Dresses that feel more like characters than garments.

Not entirely bridal. Not entirely fashion. Not entirely performance.

Exactly where the most interesting stories tend to live.
